Woman spends whole life saving orphaned elephants, shares an extremely special bond with them

Most people are animal-lovers, but few of them actually dedicate their entire lives to helping and rescuing animals in needs. The woman in the video below is one of those people.
Daphne Sheldrick spent most of her life saving and taking care of orphaned elephants that desperately needed someone’s help. For the past four decades, the woman has worked at the Nairobi Elephant Orphanage in Kenya.
There she was in charge of rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned elephants so that they would stand the best chances of leading a normal, happy life. The orphaned that were put in her care were mostly baby elephants whose family was killed by poachers who hunt down elephants for ivory.
Daphne’s job was to provide these young elephants with the best care so that they can successfully re-enter their natural habitat when they were old enough to take care of themselves. During this process, Daphne would come to form extremely close relationships with the elephants that were in her care.
And believe it or not, the special connection between them has somehow withstood the test of time.
