An Australian has reached a “record” that few can manage to achieve. It began almost 30 years ago a sugar-free diet after receiving a diagnosis of prediabet. Carolyn Hartz, aged 69, dropped sugar for health reasons but also to maintain form. In the past 28 years, she has occasionally tasted sweets, but they were sugar-free. She used an alternative sugar, called Xylitol, and then created a business.
