Many people dream about going whale watching, but do you think there’s a chance whales have “people watching” on their bucket lists as well? Truth be told, they probably don’t, but that doesn’t mean they are not curious whenever they come across a human.

The woman who leaned in never expected the whale to respond in the way it did and lift her calf out of the water. That’s because most whales always keep their distance and don’t intentionally get as close to people and human boats as this gray whale did.
The entre group of tourists got the once in a lifetime opportunity to touch one of the greatest mammals in the world – and it’s an experience they will most likely never forget for as long as they live.
