A man managed to capture the breathtaking moment a passenger plane flies just feet over tourists enjoying a day on the beach. The slow-motion film he posted on Instagram shows the plane slowly gliding over stunned tourists on the beach: “It’s as crazy as it sounds, planes landing just meters from a public beach”. The video became viral, being watched by thousands of people.
Paul Lunning visited the Caribbean island of Saint Martin in February when he witnessed the unique moment. Maho Beach is famous worldwide. Being located near Princess Juliana International Airport, the beach offers tourists the rare occasion to be just feet away from world’s biggest airplanes.
