This recipe is not only easy to make but it only requires two basic ingredients that you most likely already have somewhere in your kitchen.
So I say we jump straight to business! The first thing you’ll need to do is check if you have condensed milk and some chocolate chips. If you do, then you’ve already completed the hardest part of this recipe (told you it was easy).
Make sure you don’t mistake condensed milk with evaporated milk, because you’ll end up with hot chocolate instead of delicious fudge. Condensed milk is thicker compared to evaporated milk, and that is what you need for this recipe.
Once you’ve made sure you have the right ingredients, the next step is to combine them into a large bowl and mix them using a wooden spoon. After you’ve given it a good stir, place the bowl in the microwave or heat up on the stove using the double boiler method (put your bowl on top of another pot of boiling water).
You’re almost done. Once the chocolate has completely melted down and has perfectly mixed with the condensed milk, go back in with a spoon and stir it until it has the consistency of fudge.
The final step is to put that fudge into aluminum foil and shape it as you see fit. Let it cool down in the fridge for at least a couple of hours.
