Known as the “salt and ice challenge,” the challenge involves young people testing themselves to see how resistant they are to pain by combining salt and ice on their skin.
The effect is not only painful, but it is also extremely dangerous. Doctors warn that putting ice and salt together on the skin can cause second-degree burns similar to frostbite.
