Orangutan Kisses Pregnant Woman’s Belly

I don’t know about you, but whenever I go to the zoo and see the orangutans look at me from behind the partition glass, I can’t help but feel that we as humans have let down those animals
There’s something so human in the way they stare at you and in the way they move that it’s almost like they are being kept prisoners. It just doesn’t feel right. It’s pretty common knowledge that apes, orangutans in particular, are extremely intelligent and display a wide array of emotions that we commonly associate with humans, such as fear, excitement, and empathy.
To all those who doubt the fact that orangutans can actually feel these emotions, I say, watch the video below.
The video captures the incredible reaction of an orangutan when a pregnant woman gets close to the partition glass and shows the ape her belly. At first, the ape only seems curious looking at her belly, but what she did next is truly remarkable. It seems like the orangutan is actually trying to kiss the woman’s belly through the partition glass to show affection.
The orangutan does this several times. You need to see it!
