Dating and trying to find someone to spend the rest of your life with is challenging enough as it is. But doing so when you already have children is even harder. That’s because you not only have to find a partner that is right for you but who will also love and care for your children as if they were their own.
What’s more, the children have to be onboard with your decision and accept a new person in their lives. As I’ve said, it can be a challenging affair. But it’s nowhere near impossible.
The mom in the video below managed to find a man to call “the one,” so when he proposed, she immediately said Yes. But soon after that, she started thinking about how her 4-year-old boy is going to react when hearing the news.
Seeing how important this all was to her, her fiancé decided to ask for the boy’s blessing so that he will embrace the idea of no longer being the only man in mom’s life more easily. Well, let’s just say that things didn’t exactly go as expected.
The adorable little boy wasn’t exactly thrilled when he first heard mom’s good news. Instead of sharing mom’s excitement for what the engagement ring actually meant, the boy focused more on the practical aspects of his mom wearing the ring. The boy wanted to know exactly in under what circumstances does his mom have to keep the ring on her finger and when she can take it off.
