Hundreds of Inmates Perform Flawless Michael Jackson Dance Routine Viewed 28 Million Times

Can you believe it’s almost been ten years since Michel Jackson passed away? Still, even after his death, Michael incredible music and style continue to inspire others. And sometimes, you can find Michael’s influence in places where you would least expect it.
All the men you are about to see in the video below are sentenced prisoners, but that hasn’t stopped them from delivering the performance of a lifetime.
With the help of world-famous choreographer Travis Payne and dancers Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid, the inmates at the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) maximum security prison managed to execute a dance routine that will leave you open mouthed.
Those involved in the project chose to set the choreography to Michael Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us,” and the choice was not random. The song touches on important issues that are still a huge problem in the world today, such as racism, police brutality, military warfare, genocide, and human rights abuse.
It’s important that you watch this and take in the powerful message this dance was meant to convey. Also, we encourage you to take a second to share the clip with others as well.
