8-year-old notices friend was denied a hot lunch due to lack of money, buys lunch for 295 kids

We all have problems, and it’s easy to get wrapped up in everyday life, and only focus about getting through the day and get everything done in time. That’s why I think we all need to be reminded about what is our greater goal in life every once in a while. What’s that goal I’m rambling here about? Well, it’s simple: being the best version of ourselves, being better people. And a big part of achieving this goal has to do with helping others.

It doesn’t take a grand gesture to make someone’s life just a little bit better.

This third grader from Michigan decided to do an incredible kind gesture for one of his colleagues from school. It all started after the boy’s friend was denied a hot lunch at school because he didn’t had enough money left in his account.  Instead of a hot meal, he received a cold cheese sandwich.

The boy was deeply upset to see this happening to his friend, so when he went home. He told his mom all about the situation he’s witnessed and asked her what he could do so that it never happened again.
