Minister Horace Burgess can take pride on having built a wooden true sanctuary in Tennessee. The man spent over $ 12,000 to build the tree house that has no less than 80 rooms. He later added a chapel, an indoor basketball court and a sanctuary room. For 14 years, the man worked tirelessly to finish the 5-storey construction. Evan more impressive, the house was shaped without any help from specialists. Volunteers were the only one who contributed.
Using recycled materials and 258,000 nails, Burgess brought to life a building supported by six oaks. It all started after the minister supposedly had a vision back in 1993.
