Girl Plays ‘Hallelujah’ On Piano, Suddenly Violinist Joins & Song Transforms Into Chilling Duet

“Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen has to be one of the most covered songs of all time. Released in 1984, the song has since been covered by hundreds of different artists and used in a wide array of TV shows, movies and television specials. However, there is something about this song that doesn’t get old.
Even today, more than thirty years after being released, the song still strikes a chord with people of all ages. And don’t think the younger generation is oblivious to the song. In the clip below, for instance, you can see a girl playing a piano version of the song, and she does it brilliantly.
But that is not even the best part. The piano was in a public place, and the girl was joined by another beautiful artist who accompanied her by playing the violin. Together, they managed to breathe new life into Leonard Cohen’s famous song, and it’s something that will definitely put a smile on your face.
The images were captured at Rotterdam station, in the Netherlands. So far, thousands of people have watched this impromptu performance on YouTube alone. Make sure you’re not missing out; hit play.
