“Dear Dad, I’m going to be called a ….” – This powerful video is quickly going viral

To say that the statistics revealed by the World Health Organization are worrying would be an understatement. One in three women will be physically or verbally abused at least once during some point in her life.
Each one of these women is somebody’s daughter. If you’re a man reading this, that woman who is just a number in a statistic could be your own daughter. When you look at it that way, you get a new perspective. To emphasize this message, a Norwegian company named Care Norway, put together a powerful video entitled #DearDaddy” that has gone viral online.
The clip depicts the kinds of relationships women typically have with the men in their lives, starting with their fathers. The video is meant to raise awareness about violence against women and to empower men to acknowledge the fact that they can truly make a difference in regards to how women are treated in this world. Men are often the ones who can stop the cycle of abuse.
This is a powerful video that everybody should see, so make sure to share it with all of your friends and family so that it reaches as many people as possible.
