A man living in Phoenix found quite the thrift store treasure. The man bought a $6 dollar watch at a Goodwill store and ended up selling it for $35,000 to a San Francisco collector.
Zach Norris was looking for golf equipment when a Swiss watch drew his attention.
The man admitted that he soon realized that the watch was a 1959 Jaeger-LeCoultre, a model highly sought by collectors. “I didn’t even want to give it to her to scan,” he said. “I was like you can scan it in my hand if you want to. I just didn’t want to let it go.” A few days later he sold it online.
