When we’re younger, we don’t think about growing up and only getting to see our closest friends every once in a while. But then, oh well, life happens. Maybe we move in a different city to go to college or follow the opportunity of a better-paid job. Maybe it’s just a matter of priorities shifting. The bottom line is that we don’t get to see our friends, not even our best friends, as often as we would like.
That’s normal. That’s life. But there’s nothing like that feeling you have when you get together with old friends after not seeing them for a lot of time. Somehow, no matter how long it’s been since you saw each other, it’s like you never were apart.
Everything just falls back into place, and you can pick it up where you’ve left it, because nothing really changed. You’re still best friends.
And it’s not just us humans who experience these types of moments and emotions. The two elephants in the video below spent many years at a circus together. But after a while, they were separated.
Will they be able to recognize one another after more than two decades of being apart?
Take a look at the video below and find out.
