Veteran decides to commit suicide and goes for last smoke, then hears rustling in bushes

Some say that everything happens for a reason and that there are no coincidences. Well, I don’t know about that. But the encounter between a veteran planning to commit suicide and a feline coming out from the bushes at exactly the right time definitely seems to be something orchestrated by higher forces.
After serving multiple tours in some of the most dangerous places in the world, Army Sgt. Josh Marino was left permanently scarred by his encounter with the hell-like realities of war. The young man suffered a brain injury in Iraq and was discharged, but had severe post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of his service.
Things got so bad that the man actually made the decision to put an end to his life. He even wrote a goodbye letter to his family. However, as he went outside to smoke one last cigarette before ending his life, he came across a feline that seemed in dire need to be rescued.
The man took the cat inside, and from that point on, their mutual rescue journey began. The cat gave Josh the confidence to choose a different path and start over. This clip tells their inspirational story. Take a look:
