Death is an inevitable part of life yet nobody wants to talk about it. Nobody wants to deal with death because it’s complicated, and sad and irreversible.
As a result, there are many very sick foster children who stay in a hospital or a facility without nobody by their side to hold and comfort them during their last days. It’s a heartbreaking reality, but it’s reality nevertheless.
One man simply couldn’t bear the thought of children dying alone without experiencing compassion and love, so he decided to take matters into his own hands and do something about it.
So far, Mohamed has taken care of dozens of foster children, many of whom have terminal illnesses. “The key is; you have to love them like your own. I know they are sick. I know they are going to die. I do my best as a human being and leave the rest to God,” he said.
Mohamed treats all of his foster children as if they were his own, and makes sure that whatever time they have left will be filled with love and joy.
His ongoing dedication and love for the children he fosters has inspired a GoFundMe campaign, and in just two months, 7,574 people donated about $400,000 to support Mohamed. This way, he can continue to take care of as many children as possible without having to worry about the financial side of things.
This is one of the most inspiring stories you will ever see. Make sure to share this with all of your friends and family online.
